In February 2019, SensePost became a part of Orange Cyberdefense – Europe’s leading go-to security services provider. We are currently looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team!
The Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for aiding the Sales department in selling Orange Cyberdefense solutions (Ethical Hacking and Managed Services), centred on Orange Cyberdefense services and its portfolio, as well as assisting the Sales department in providing a technical overview of Orange Cyberdefense offerings.
The Technical Pre-Sales Consultant supports the Orange Cyberdefense Sales team in positioning and selling the Orange Cyberdefense portfolio, including services such as Ethical Hacking, Managed Security Services, and other cybersecurity solutions. Acting as the technical bridge between clients and the sales organisation, the consultant translates client requirements into relevant, high-quality Orange Cyberdefense solutions that align with business objectives and security needs.
This role combines strong technical expertise with commercial awareness and business acumen. The Technical Pre-Sales Consultant works closely with prospective and existing clients to promote, position, and articulate the value of Orange Cyberdefense services and technologies through direct engagement, consultation, and solution design.
The Technical Pre-Sales Consultant plays a key role in the development of technical solutions and proposals, including responding to RFIs and RFPs, drafting technical content, and translating business requirements into practical and effective cybersecurity solutions. Working alongside Account Managers and clients, the consultant contributes to the successful closure of commercially sound and strategically relevant opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a strong understanding of the Orange Cyberdefense service portfolio and remain up to date with new services, enhancements, and strategic developments.
Support and advise Account Managers on Orange Cyberdefense offerings, capabilities, and positioning strategies.
Attend, coordinate, and support client engagements, workshops, and technical discussions.
Provide expert guidance by recommending contextually relevant cybersecurity services, assessments, and solutions.
Respond to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and tender requirements with accurate and high-quality technical input.
Develop technical proposals, solution designs, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Facilitate and support Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements and solution demonstrations.
Participate in ongoing technical and professional development training.
Build and maintain strong working relationships across Sales, Professional Services, Ethical Hacking, Project Management, Managed Services, and broader Pre-Sales teams.
Develop and maintain professional, trusted, and sustainable client relationships.

Level of Education
Bachelor's degree or master's degree or equivalent experience.
Security industry recognised certification advantageous: CISSP, CISA/CISM, OSCP/OSCE, CEH, CREST, COMPTIA S+ or similar certifications.
Minimum Work Experience
1- 3 years of experience in a comparable function.
Job Context/Environment
Hybrid Office.
Core working hours, although some flexibility will be required to interact with clients in other time zones.
Occasional travel to customer sites and or networking events.
